Toyotaman need your help

Toyotaman I know you can help me.I just bought a used 2000 toyota corolla VE only 38 thousand miles I also have a 2003 Matrix,Anyway here is the problem nothing real bad.
The seat belt light goes on when seatbelts are buckled and goes off when not buckled.Only on the drivers side.I can get it to work by pulling the belt.Is the switch in the buckle or the reel?
