Parking brake adjustment

On a 1999 Chev. Silverado 1/2 ton, RWD, is there an adjustment for the parking brake shoes at the wheel, or is the cable length theonly adjustment.

Thanks for any help.

Doug

Yes, I believe there is if it has rear disc brakes. You'll have to remove the caliper and rotor. Completely back off the cable adjustment before adjusting the shoe, then re-adjust the cable once rotors are back on. If they are drum brakes, do the same thing with the brake adjustment.
