i am retofitting the ac system onthe 1993 ford taurus with 134a and replacing the compressor .i am trying to find out howmuch oil to put in the system . any help dave.

I'd flush the system real good and get as much of the old oil out that is possible. I don't know the specifc capacity of that system but as a rule, I generally add 6 - 8 oz on a clean system.
