Astro Van Windows
#1

My astro van windows will not roll all the way down or up in one motion. They may got half way down and stop. I would have to wait for about 5min before starting again. If not nothing will happen when I try to roll them up. It will take about 10 - 15 min to complete the roll up. Can some one please help me with this, thanks.

The window glass has most likely gotten caught in motion and moved to either side of the run channel rubber. When this happens it usually bends the front or rear run channel outward. To fix this, remove interior door panel and place window in up position. Then bend run channels inward and make sure window edge is in center of run channel rubber. Lube with silicone spray.
Window motors usually don't go "weak". They just quit. If too much resistance from window mechanism, a breaker will trip and re-set.
Find the bind...Heh-heh..

That's not true at all. I've change many a "weak" motor. The channel can "rarely" be a problem but the window motors are very common.

This will be the last time I bother to help someone here.
Sorry to have stepped on the "experts" toes.
I should have known better.
again, sorry.

Here's my initial response

Davo's right........weak motors. Make sure the channel isn't binding the glass and lube it with silicone when the motors are replaced.
