cooling system

please help
my 96 honda accor temptrue gauge go very hot when i stuck in traffice jam
tested motor fan still work replaced cooling temp switch no help

Several possibilities: Thermostat, clogged radiator/cooling system in general, major engine problems like blown head gasket, binding accessory such as ac compressor; worn/corroded water pump not circulating as much coolant.

Are you sure it's actually overheating? Could be the temp sender unit. Only way to know would be to check with a thermometer (or other measuring equipment.

it not overheat yet but the temptrue gauge should not went passed the midle line the main problem that the fan should turn on when tempture gauge went that hight,but i check the fan still work and replaced the cooling temp. switch
no help and radiator cap
note the reservoir full of antifezz (water)

You might have air in the cooling system. When you top off the coolant you need to open the bleeder screw and make sure all the air bubbles are out before you close the bleeder.

Check your maintenance manual for location, but generally it is located near the thermostat.
