1988 Camaro, 5.0 TBI. Auto Trans.

Any problem going with a cool hi-flo thermostat? Would you go 190, 180, or 165 degrees?

There's no benefit to doing that, just higher emissions. If you have a cooling problem, just repair it.

Headlights 1998 Grand Prix

I have to aim the headlights on a 1998 Grand Prix. There appears to be 2 reverse (female) torx screws on either side of the lamp assembly that are connected to a threaded horizontal rod going back toward the engine compartment on either side. I am assuming that turning these reverse torx screws would accomplish the aiming process, but wanted to check here first.Read More

MY problem involves starting car. Car screeched when starting and sometimes would not start. Took it to the dealer and tech stated starter and fan belt need replacement. I dont have the estimate in hand but it relates to something being stripped inside the components of the fan belt wheel? Anyways the estimated involved 9 hours of labor, I think taking it apart to replace the part involves a great deal of work.
