'56/57 Chevy SD

Can you tell me where I can find Parts and Accessories for a
'56/57 Chevy Sedan? A friend of mine has a beautifully restored one, I believe its a '57, and he can't find anything on the Internet. I don't believe he actually knows where to look. Any suggestions out there?

A simple search using Google, Yahoo, or Lycos should give you more websites to research than you can cover in two lifetimes. Try "1957 Chevrolet parts".

A/C clutch

Installed new A/C clutch on a 1993 Mercury Villager. Now when engaged, A/C make cold air, but clutch makes very audible clicking noise. When disengaged, clutch drags intermitently and there are metal filings on the clutch surfaces and a lesser clicking noise. I am a "Haynes Manual" mechanic and there is are no instructions in any of my manuals on installation procedure. What went wrong? Thanks for any help.Read More
