low charging

Hi all. You all are doing a great job! while changing plugs in a 98 ram van (3.9 litre) i (like a dummy) touched the wrench on the alt. cable. it now charges low. i had the alt tested at murrays & they said it was fine. Could their test have been incorrect? what else could i have damaged to make it charge low? i thank you kindly for any help.

you may have blown a fusible link which is usually a large maxi fuse in the underhood fuse box, if you have a test light or volt meter you can check for power at the large alternater post if it doesnt have 12 volts you did blow a fusible link.
