Re-torquing Driveshaft Bolt on 2002 RAV4

The RAV4 maintenance schedule calls for retorquing this bolt often. I would like to find out specifically what bolt this is and the torque setting. Thanks.

If you're going to be doing that type maintenance, I would recommend you pick up a good DIY manual such as Haynes or Chilton's. Should be able to enlighten you; not sure exactly which driveshaft bolt this would refer to. If Toyotaman comes along he should have the correct answer.

They are refering to the driveshaft on tha All wheel drive model.

It's the one that drives the rear wheels. It's the four bolts at each end that attach the shaft to their respective flanges

The joint in the middle is 27 ft lbs, the rear bolts are 54 ft lbs
