bearings i think

ok all i have a

1992 Ford Tempo gl 2.3 lit

and she grinds real bad when i go to the right now she grinds real loud no matter which way and i am not driving her anymore it is that bad. OK now to the fun part after talking and getting 20 different prices it is more than likly the bearings can i just buy a hub assembly and just replace the old one. the bearings are in the assem right? NEXT thing is this something i can do or do i have to take the nuckel and the hub assembly and get the bearings pressed out and the new ones pressed in?

OR can this problem be something else?

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ALL THE INFO I CAN GET I NEED.

Unless you have this nifty little tool set called a Hub-Shark, the knuckle has to come off and the press warmed up. Hub and bearing are seperate parts on that car, they don't come as an assembly. I always recommend replacing the hub with the bearing on those, especially if you've been driving on a bad bearing for any length of time. My advice would be to remove the knuckle (not a difficult job), and take it to a machine shop to have the required pressing done.
