Fuel Pump Relay Fuse (20 amp) Blows

1991 buick Regal 3.8 litre tuned port injected. Have tried to trace wire from relay box. Very difficult to do. What I have traced, I see no wear. I have a ohm meter but not sure how to use it. Only used it to test voltages. Can this problem be traced with a ohm meter. Thank [email protected]

it can be difficult to find a short with an ohmeter but it can be used to help determine if the wiring or component is shorted to ground.
suggest getting a wiring diagram for that circuit first to see what all that fuse supplies power to. if it doesnt blow until you turn the key on you may want to try disconnecting the connector at the gas tank and then see if it blows the fuse as a shorted fuel pump would likely cause this problem.
