Codes

the check engine light came on while driving, my wife called and I told her to go to Autozone. They told her something about a paperclip to read the codes. I have a factory shop manual. Car is a Buick Century, 93, 3.3 Anyone know of a way to read the stored code. Thanks

Locate the ALDL connector under the driver's side dash. Take your paper clip, bend it un a U and stick it into the A-B terminals. That's the top 2 to the farthest right. Turn the key on and count the check engine light flashes. Start count over when there is a pause. Most of the codes are 2 digit. Post back with what you find.
