A question for my dad

Hey, I'm new and told my dad i'd post a question on a forum to help him out.

He has a mercury couger. (That's all I know about it sorry)

The turn signal light isn't working properly. He has to jiggle the wires for it to come on. He thinks that the pins that connect the wires to the turnsignal are not making good contact. Is there a product to spray/wrap on the pins to increase their condutivity, or another way to make sure they're making good contact.

Do you guys understand that, or did I phrase it too ambiguously? Sorry, i'm not very good at cars.

they do make contact spray wich will clean a corroded connection but if the pins are just loose it will not help, sometimes you can bend them slightly with a pick to increase there contact, not sure what exactly what is being wiggled if its at the bulb socket or connector under dash most bulb sockets can be replaced with a new one.
