I hear that there is a recall on this engine for a fuel rail leak problem, it has apparently gone out to olds owners, but not to pontiac owners. Does anyone have a copy of the recall, or know where I can get it?

You could try calling the dealer and giving them the VIN and let them check their computer database.

The recall only applies to 96 and 97 Olds Aurora at this time and 95 Auroras will be added as will some Cadillacs. It also only applies to the 4.0 engine not your 3.8 which is a v-6 by the way not a v-8.If your car ever has a recall you will get a letter advising you of the matter.
