92 Ford Crown Victoria 4.6 V8 jerking.

My Mom's car is having some trouble.

It is Jerking really badly during low speeds from take-off. When you give it a little gas it works through it. Last year, we replaced the plugs and plug wires, but this is the same thing that was happening last year when we put the plugs on and the same thing that was happening on My dad's truck when it needed plugs.

Is there something besides plugs and wires that could be causing this problem?????? PLEASE HELP.

there is other possible causes but plugs and wires are probably the most common problem for this model car may have a hole burnt through the plug boot if it has the hard plastic plug boots which is usually visible by removing the plug wire from the spark plug and inspecting each one by looking for a white ash colored spot which is a whole burnt through the plug wire boot.
also by looking inside the boot for any carbon tracking usually a dark line running along the inside of the plug boot if any found i would suggest replacing the plugs and wires as the plugs get carbon tracked also.
