There's a TPS(throttle position sensor) but that is totally external and isn't exposed to anything inside to get dirty. Before the throttle body in the intake snorkel you have the IAT (intake air temp) which only see clean intake air or the IAC (idle air control) on the throttle body which isn't a sensor at all but controls your idle through controlling air bleed. Cleaning that is usually the first step in an idle problem. You should also clean all the black gunk from the back of the throttle plate and surrounding housing. That will make it more stable.
