'95 Ford Taurus 3.8L, V-6

I was replacing the spark plugs in my mother's Taurus and the #1 plug (first one on back side of sideways engine) broke off in the engine. I can feel the broke plug but i don't have enough room to work with it with a punch or E-Z Out. If I could just get to it i could get it out. Has anyone had any experience getting a broke spark plug out and if so, how? Would i have to completely take the whole engine out or the head off to get to it or is there an easier tool to use to get it out? Please help.

if you can completly remove the porcelin and electrode of the plug then you could try an easy out but if that fails you will pretty much have to remove the head.
