Stalling Auto

95' Mitsubishi Marage LS Coupe with Automatic Transmission. When comming to a stop, the car jerks and then stalls. The car appears to run fine at high speeds or even through town as long as I do not have to stop. If I place the car in Neutral before I stop, the car does not stall. I have read the other threads about some similar problems and it appears that a Torque Converter may be an issue. I would like to get some more feedback on the possible problem and any other thoughts. The car does have over a 100K miles and just do not know if it would be worth fixing.
Please respond.

Sounds like your on the right track with something related to the transmission although the faulty TCC solonoids are usually GM problems. Maybe somebody else will be more familiar the the Mitsubishi products.
