94 Astrovan went dead, won't start

My 1994 Chev Astro Van suddenly went dead in traffic. It has started and ran for a few minutes two times but died again. Fuel pump and fuel filter check okay. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Assuming the engine cranks over but will not run.
Do you have spark, proper fuel pressure that holds and injector pulse? Does the check engine light come on with the key in the run position? If this is a Vortec engine (eighth V.I.N. number W) you need at least 60 psi of fuel pressure to start the engine.

Did you notice any drivability problems before it died?

Do some investigation and find out whether you’re missing spark, proper fuel pressure or injector pulse to narrow down the possibilities.
