Chevy Silverado 1500- Right front brake locked up????

The right front brake caliper will not release on my 1990 Silverado 1500 pickup. I replaced the caliper but the new one won't release either. I had brake work done on this vehicle just a few months ago. The mechanic said he replaced a pressure valve in the brake system with a used one. Could that be my problem? He does not want to warranty his work!! If so, where is the valve and how doI replace it myself ? Thanks in advance

its likely a brake hose and suggest you just change both of the front brake hoses instead of just doing one.

Thanks beejay,

I changed both front rubber brake lines going to the calipers. That did it!!
That released the right front brake piston and and also eliminated a hard pull to the left when brakes were applied. Evidently the right hose had collapsed inside and the left one was failing. Thanks again.
