Car A/C Squealing

Every time I turn on my A/C in my truck it makes this loud squealing noise. I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma with 109,000 miles on it and I've never done any maintainence on the A/C. Turning on the fan is fine but as soon as I press the A/C button the squealing starts and doesn't stop until I turn off the A/C. It doesn't matter if the truck is moving or not.

Could the A/C belt be too loose? If so, where can I find the A/C belt? Could it be a different problem?

the belt could be loose or the a/c compressor may be locked up or trying to lock up wich would cause the belt to slip also.

My truck was doing the same thing. It was the belt.
