Taurus fuel pump problem

I have a 92 ford taurus GL (Not a SHO) with a 3.0 engine. The fuel pump doesn't work. I have put in a new pump and it still does not come on. I have checked the inertia reset. I have power coming back to the fuel pump plug in. Anbody have any ideas? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I am at wits end. Thanks

if you have power at the wire going to the pump at the tank harness connector then check to make sure you have a good ground and also make sure you are checking the correct wires as the wire going to the sending unit usually has power with the key on also the wire going to the fuel pump will only have power for a few seconds when you turn the key on or while cranking the engine over.
also check that the connector isnt damged such as pins spread out and may not be making a good connection when connected it is possible you have a bad pump even though it is new.
