Lightbulb Oil Changes

Hi,

At my service center they always offer a better oil change service that includes a cleaner, is that something that I should consider getting sometime?? The only difference from the regular service is the added cleaner. I have a '97 Honda Accord w/ 111k miles on it.

Thanks,

If the oil has been changed regularly you do not need it. It is just a profit item for the shop. Depending on what they use and how they do it it could even be harmful.

Hondas normally stay very clean inside unless oil changes have been severly neglected.

Yes stay away from the snake oil it should not be needed if you perform oil changes as needed.
