How to change stater on 1999 Toyota Corolla 4door
Please help me!
How difficult is it to change the stater on 1999 Toyota Corolla 4door.
I have some questions:
Where is it located?
How many bolts need to be taken out to take the starter out?
Where are these bolts located?
It it necessary to go under the car to take care of removal and replacement of the starter?
Thank you very much.

re starter
its not to hard to change a starter its located under the intake manifold on the back side of motor and yes you have to get at the starter from under the car in order to remove it. there are two bolts one you get from the top of the car and one you remove from under the car. its best to remove the top of the air cleaner box to gain axcess to the front bolt usually a 14mm wobbly socket with a extension will get the top bolt. under the car same thing 14mm socket and extension to remove second bolt. dont forget to disconnect the battery. its also easy to get to the wires on the starter from under the car good luck one more thing the bolts are located on the transmission front side second bolt from left and the other bolt youll see is located under the car back side of transmission
