1995 Grand Am door locks

Hi, My sons Grand Am has the automatic locks that engage when you put the car in gear. That part works. However they will not automatically unlock.
Also the locks do not work at all either way with the switch on the doors. I checked both the lock & unlock fuses & they are fine. Is there a relay somewhere that could be bad? If so, where can I locate it on this car?
Thanks for your help! Dave

The automatic door locks, when they lock and unlock is a personalization feature that u should be able to customize. The procedure should be in the owners manual.
The switch problem.....u probly need a wiring diagram to figure it out, but u could make a visual inspection in the conduit between the door and the body, where the wiring harness passes to get into the door. Look inside the conduit for broken wires from years of flexing each time the driver door opens.
