1986 Chev Sportvan
On my 1986 van - 350 - 8 cyl - If I let it sit for a couple of days I have to pump the gas several times to get the gas up, then it floods and won't start. So far I have had the carb overhauled, put in new filters, new plugs, new distributor module, new timing chain - it still does the same thing. Should I try a new fuel pump? or what? thanks for any help.

sounds like a carb problem may have the fuel well plugs leaking down causing the carb not to have any gas in it when starting and the flooding is likely carb related also could be needle and seat problem or even a choke problem or a bad choke pulloff.
