Saturn Power Steering Pump

I am replacing a 1996 Saturn SL2 power steering pump with a Cardone one (part no. 20-48831). I have run into a dilemma. There is a part on the original pump that must be unscrewed and installed on the replacement pump (don't know the name). The removable part contains the fluid inlet into the pump housing (not the line from the reservoir) and an electrical sensor connector. I have loosened the part from the original pump housing, but the part is prevented from being turned by the pump housing so that it can be removed. Anyone have experience with this problem?

The clip located at the electrical end needs to be removed then the actuator can be unscrewed from the pump housing. There is a special socket for this but if you have a big enough wrench it may work.
