Question '99 Nissan Sentra - sun visor floppy

Can anyone tell me whether a floppy sun visor can be fixed, or must it be replaced? The Drivers side one wouldnt stay up, so I removed it and replaced it with the passenger side visor. Would like to go back to TWO good ones again. Is this something available at a pull-your-own parts yard?

Any help welcomed.

Look on the visor at the corner where the attachment is located. If there is a screw head, usually phillips head, try tightening it slightly to see if that will stop the flop.

Red face Note to Jay

After some research, I found a local "you-pull-it" car parts yard. They have several Nissan Sentras, but not 1999. The price quoted was about $4.00 per visor. Even if they are the wrong model years, it might be worth lookin' into.

'99 Nissan Sentra - sun visor floppy - simple solution

If you don't mind the unconventional, a good bag clip and a zip tie or string can do the trick. Photo is actually a 2001 Sentra.

This thread is almost 10 years old, my guess is the OP has sold the car by now.
