chevy lumina apv headlight switch--where to find?

I think my headlight switch is bad on my chevy lumina apv (95).

When I turn it on to headlight, the headlights go on, the taillights go on...but the dash lights dont...the radio goes black (it works, but the display..instead of dimming...goes out).

Since I have, for a little while, felt a little mechinical resistance when turning the headlight switch off/on (pushing it in etc)...I'm thinking that the switch might be bad (that would be an easy fix if that is it).

Problem is...I can't see to find the part...I've tried some online parts places...they have catalog listings for the exact part...but when I order, they tell me that they can't get the part...even a suitable replacement part.

Any idea where to turn?

thanks!

1st check the fuse and relating wires to the dash lights if you haven't already. You can check a local junk yard for the switch if you can't find a new one anywhere.
