Overheating 93 Prelude

I just got a new radiator put in my 93 honda prelude and seems to run great during the day, but at night the engine overheats after running it for about 15 minutes. The only thing I can figure out is when I have my headlights on, the temperature gauge (Note: it's digital) goes to hot. I've tried turning on the lights during the day and the same thing happens. Any advice?

With the lights off, warm up the car till the radiator fan turns on. Then turn on the lights to see if that causes the fan to turn off. If so, turn the lights back off and see if the fan comes on again. Possibly the person who put in your radiator may have messed with the wires for some reason. If the fan is cutting off when you turn on the lights, follow the wire from the fan and see if it has been tapped into the light circuit. If you had the work done at a shop, you might want to take the car back there and let them fix it rather than spending a lot of time on it yourself if its not a simple fix.
