59 Jeep
I have a 59 jeep that i'm trying to get running I notice that One of the wires on the coil Came loose and I don't know were it goes. One is hooked to the distributor and the other is just loose.

The other wire..
should go to wire or connector that has power with the key in both start and run. Basically, switched battery voltage. I would look for another loose wire or connector in the area that has power with the key in run. The distrubutor provides ground for the coil thru the points inside it.

Believe it or not, if you got a Haynes manual it would be for Jeep CJs 1949-1986
Not alot of changes over the years
Some parts are still available from NAPA
Some you may have to make or improvise
Usually that's easy on a Jeep
Have fun!

I did some quick searching...
and came up with....
www.kaiserwillys.com
www.kaiserwillysjeep.com
Just do a search for "59 Willys" "59 Jeep", etc. There are quite a few sites out there. Also for tools and supplies for anything auto:
www.eastwoodco.com
Please note: I _have not_ done business with any of these sites, so I can't vouch for them. Eastwood Company has an excellent reputation though. I just wanted to give you some starting places. I'm sure some other members will be able to add to them.
As long as your searching, I would look for a local club that you could join. The members will have a lot of knowledge and experience working on Willys/Jeeps. They will probably also know the best places to get parts too!
Good Luck!

Good idea about searching for a club or enthusiasts club
I have done business with Eastwood for years and their products and advice are great
They fill a niche for restorers that the chain auto part stores don't
Especially for fabricating parts or restoring old parts
