if it is a sticky lifter you may try an engine flush and than an oil change after than about 2 weeks do another oil change you can use an additive if you wish like lucus or slick 50

I've had good luck with Rislone too, for noisy lifters
RVs often see heavy duty then sit for too long
Sometimes you need to change the oil even though it hasn't been 3k
You may need to repeat Doc's procedure more than once to quiet the lifter(s)
(of course for the 2 weeks it should be driven)

If you're still having a problem with a sticky lifter try some Marvel Mystery oil. Don't know why it works, but it does.

I have had very good luck with changing the oil and substituting 1 qt. of Rislone for 1 qt. of oil.

I would advise against an engine flush.
