'99 Ranger Transmission electrical problems?
1999 ranger w/ 2.5L engine, automatic. While driving down the road the transmission started slipping, ABS light came on, speedometer stopped working, then check engine light came on. Now will not shift out of low gear as well as the other fore mentioned problems. All fuses check good.

This might seem like out of left field, but I would start with a thorough electrical system check - battery condition and alternator output. Everything you mentioned has electrical/electronic parts that could be effected by low voltage.

Plug on the side of the trans
