94 Ford Escort

I have a 94 Ford Escort with a 5 speed transmision. In order to start the car the clutch pedal must be pressed down in order for ignition to start. Recently you really have to press really hard on clutch pedal in order for ignition to start (there are no floor mats under pedal) I noticed there is a small switch on the floor under clutch pedal, my question is how much does it cost for this switch and is it easy to change for a do-it-yourselfer. Thanks in advance!!!

Very easy to do, pretty easy to see how it goes, no tricks or anything
I can't remember how much
They are not real expensive that I recall, if it was over $25 I would prolly remember that
