93 Grand Am Questions

It has a quad4 Vin#1G2NE1435PM627737. I don't know which engine? Advance Auto told me I should have an A in the #.I'm trying to get the
starter off to get checked.Davo advised me but
I still can't find all bolts. I think I have the bottom bolt out but not sure
if their 2 or 3 bolts.I have bracket removed.

The 8th position is the engine. I believe yours is a L4-138 2.3L SOHC, but one of the GM pro's should be along to confirm that.

Only 2 bolts 1 from the engine side(lower bolt)1 from the trans side(upper bolt).Do you have the air intake removed so you can get in there?Your engine code is #3.

Don't take the intake manifold off just the hose and stuff that goes to it.
