93 ranger clicking starter

93 ranger clicking starter

I put a rebuilt starter in my ranger a year ago.I know bad parts can come from advance but this morning did it agian .loud clicking sound headlights are fine so I have a full charge. Is it about to eat another starter?

Yep take the starter and see if they will test it. Most places will. You should call first to see if they can test it in the vehicle or not.
You may have a warranty on it.

Advance has a good warranty on starters
I think on paper it's a year but the guys around here don't even ask
Good thing too
Every 9 months I have to pull one out of my buddy's Jeep, Advance tests it and gives me another

Auto parts retailers have a cheap line and a good line of parts.When you buy an electrical part I suggest the better quality to be the best option.Unless you consider your time to be zero value and want to keep changing the same part.
