console to trany shifter cable problem

console to trany shifter cable problem

91plymouth sundance i cant sincronise the transmission with the shifter on the consoll i replaced the cable and had to find nuetral by hand on top of trany now dont know were the setting is for park so shifter cable is in right position

As long as you have known position on the trans and you adjust to the corresponding setting on the console, all of the positions should be correct. Are you sure you had the tranny in neutral - 2 clicks from Park?

I would get the trans into park and adjust at that point; everythng else will follow.
