2002 chevy venture cooling problem

anyone have any ideas
here's the problem the vehicle in running a little on the hot side cool air coming out when heater is on, lower radiator is hot and so is upper hose
while engine is running. I did notice that the upper hose is very hard while engine is running, anyone have any ideas
thanks for any help you can give

if someone was working on cooling system recently it could be air in the system if not than i would look at having a syatem flushwith new stat make sure heater core is not pluged also before this service make sure the blend door is working in the cabin

Sounds like you may have made some "Dexcool mud". Remove the 2 heater hoses from the heater core and see if water will run through it easily.
