replace exhaust system

I have a 1984 cj7 jeep that I want to replace the complete exhaust pipe. While I am fairly handy with automotive repairs, I have never attempted to replace an exhaust system. how hard is the removal of an old and replace of a new system and is there any welding required? Where do I start and how do I go about it? Any helpful hints would be appreciated..

I've had great success just buying the kit from the local auto parts store. Removal of the old system can be a pain without the right tools. When I worked in a shop we had a cool pnumatic cut off wheel, kinda like a Dremel on steroids. At home though I put my sawzall and 4" grinder to work.

A CJ is a good choice for first time exhaust replacement
It's very straight forward and accessable
The removal of old will depend on how rusted it is
As mattison says, a few cutting tools may be helpful/required
Your local trusted auto parts store should have a system that bolts in-no welding
