1992 Ford F-250 Emergency Brake Cable Replacement

The emergency brake cable on my 1992 F-250 recently snapped when a sheet metal cable union disintegrated from rust. I use the e-brake all the time, so I know the two rear cable assemblies are free. The problem is my Chilton's manual shows a solid cable piece from the pedal assembly to the combiner yoke that distributes the cable action to the twin rear cable assemblies. My cable is a shorter length coming from the pedal assembly, the now-defunct sheet metal cable union, and a short piece going to the combiner yoke.

Where do I get a replacement union? Is it a common part?

I'm sure you can get what ever you need at the Ford.
