Jumpstarting my Infiniti g20

I have had enough junkers in my life that I thought I was a pro at jumpstarting vehicles... However, I have an Infiniti G20 that was running great up until yesterday, but I knew the battery was on it's last leg... This morning it wouldn't turn over so I hooked it up to my Jeep and tried jumpstarting it... It now turns over like a champ but it just won't start... I had the battery completely out at one point, and I am just wondering if there is something else I need to do in this age of onboard computers to make it start... I am sure I must be missing something simple...

although it may be...

something simple...jump starting ANY computerized vehicle is risky due to the possibility of damaging sensitive parts. asian PCM's can be outrageously expensive...so to avoid the possibility of something bad happening...it's best to remove and recharge the battery rather than jump starting.

now...have you checked the fuses and such? what about your owners manual (assuming you have one)...does it have anything about restarting after a battery change or removal...perhaps the theft deterrent interprets the battery disconnect as a theft attempt and has disabled starting. these are simple and hopefully get you going again...

well, I found another simple solution... I called a wrecker service and had them tow it to the dealership since I have only owned the car for 5 days... ... I was thinking the theft deterrant or the computer... The owner's manual doesn't mention it, and I did check all the fuses... I will read up on it some more for future reference... Thanks for the reply
