Honda Accord-Vibrations/Shaking during Idiling

97 Honda Accord A/T, 4 CYL 89,000 miles

After the vehicle is stopped for about 5 seconds the steering wheel begins to viberate/shake. Once you start accelerating the vibrations/shaking subsides.

Additional Information: The viberating/shaking only occurrs if the A/C is turned on. It sounds like it "loads ups".

Recently, I had the vehicle checked for an alignment(GY mechanic stated that it did not need an alignment) and had the spark plugs and wires replaced. The tires are roughly one year old(all recently inspected by a GY mechanic) and the brake job(rotors turned by GY during visit for alignment) is about one 2 years old. The oil is changed about every 3500miles.

The symptoms were occurring prior to the visit to GY. Besides this problem, the vehicle runs great and I have experienced little to no problems other than normal maintenance.

Check the motor mounts closely they may be sagging causing the vibration, look for areas where the engine, trans or exhaust may be hitting.

Make sure all the bolts in the compressor are tight and the bracket that holds it to the engine block.Still could be an engine or trans mount problem being more noticable under the additional load on the engine from a/c operation.
