Hearing Scratching Noises when Braking even after Replacing Rotors and Pads

I started hearing this scratching noice when i applied the brakes around last week.. so i took it to the shop and they replaced the rotors and shoes. After driving the car, everything sounded fine for like an hour or so but after that i started hearing the sound again... what could it be??

Did they replace both the front and rear brakes?

Normally you have rotors and pads in the front, and drums and shoes in the back.

Something is touching...it shouldn't be that difficult to find out what.

You might want to check the backing plates and make sure they're not rubbing on the inside of the rotors.
