Unhappy tail lights out

83 chevie astro van. No tail lights. Put in new bulbs and new fuses, still wont work. I dont know what to do next. Help! Brad :

I would check the voltage of the lights with the brake pedal down. Does it work with a turn signal? hazards? It may be wires, or it could be the brake light switch right behind your brake pedal.

If you can take out your taillight housing you may want to check the circuit board connections for corrosion and rust through. Only fix is to replace the ckt. brd. housing unless your handy with a soldering iron and can solder some wires to bridge the gaps that have been rotted away. Not saying this is your problem,but it was mine on both tailight housings.
