Question Saturn Idling

My wife's car is a 1998 Saturn SL Coupe with 60,000 miles. She has been the sole owner. Recently her care has been idling at very high RPMs. Every morning she goes warms up her car - which she feels runs better if she lets it warm up instead of jumping in and taking off. As I mentioned, the Saturn has recently started to idle at very high revolutions. Any ideas as to why this would happen? She keeps up on regular oil changes, but not sure if it is time for a tune up.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Is the ses or cel on?That is step 1 on 1996 and newer vehicles. Also check the throttle body for carbon and clean as needed.Let me know what you find in either instance and we can go from there.
