'93 rear wheelbearing

'93 rear wheelbearing

I have a '93 chevy cavalier rs stationwagon and need to replace the rear wheelbearing. what is the best why to go about doing that?

Remove the wheel and brake drum then remove the 4 bolts holding the bearing in and remove the bearing.If you have antilock brakes a wiring connector will need removed from the backside of the bearing also.

to easy

sounds to easy. sense i got estimates of a half hour to 2 hours and prices from $200 and $400 to replace

Sounds easy because it is,I could do it in less than 15 minutes.Remember you are paying probably an hours time at $60-$100 per hour depending on where you live plus an extra 40% more(minimum)for the part than you can buy it for.
