Brake caliper bolts

I removed the caliper bolts on both front wheels and didn't notice that the upper and lower bolts are different until I cleaned the grease off. One has a G on the bolt head and the other has an L. Which is the upper bolt? (Mazda 929).

One has a ring on the end of the bolt. That one goes on top.

Brake Caliper Bolts

Thanks for the reply Desi501.
The bolt with the soft ring around the end is the L bolt. Can you tell me why the bolts are different and what the G and L stand for??
