Toyota Tundra - transmission shifts hard

For the past month the transmission in my 2000 Tundra, with 23000 miles on it, will sometimes shift so hard that the whole truck shakes. Does not seem to happen during normal acceleration but during the more rapid acceleration such as needed to get up to speed on a freeway ramp. The transmission fluid looks and smells normal.
My question is. Would it be worth a try having the transmission flushed and the fluid completely changed or does this sound like a different type of problem? Also, what's the opinion on the synthetics such as Amsoil.

You need to get it back to the dealer. You have a 5yr/50k warranty and you most likely have a problem going on there.

Look very closely at the fluid on the stick to if their is tiny metal particles in the fluid.
