Olds Serpentine Belt

I have a 1999 Olds Regency that will need a serpentine belt replacement. I was doing a prelim check and it looks to me like the belt goes thru the engine passenger side engine mount for the 3.8 litre engine. I can believe that General Motors would not make it easy, but this mount looks like a ***** to remove. Is their a trick Im not seeing here?

Remove the long bolt going through that leg of the mount and a 2" section or the mount will slide out so you can remove the belt.

Serpentine belt removal

I found the spacer you mentioned after determining that removing the bolt on the upper part of the mount wouldnt do me any good either. Looking further I found the removable spacer on the lower leg of the mount, removed the tire and wheel, removed the plastic inner fender well access panel, removed the bolt and punched out the spacer and was good to go. Thank you VERY MUCH for the clue.

Happy New Year!
