1999 kia P0740 auto trans problem electrical

I have a 1999 Kia Sopha Tha other day when I was driving in the snow my overdrive indecator light started blinking and my check engine light came on. I took it to auto zone to see why light came on and got a readout that said "troubleshooting P0740 The PCH has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the torque converter clutch" I ask what that ment, but he did not know. it went out for a few days but came back on yesterday.any body know what this means, and if it is something I could fix on my own? maybe a loose wire that the snow knocked loose or or something Thank you

Rongo.....I just fixed...

my 95 escort trani that had an electrical problem by code. I would suggest going to your local library and looking up your car in the Mitchells technician repair manuals! I did on my escort and managed to fix it! Good luck! Could also be a loose wire. Gotta get under her and check her out!!!
